I have been looking at hotel and Airbnb prices, and it seems Kuala Lumpur has some better deals than Bangkok. Which got me wondering about cost of living.

KL does have a ton of condos for rent on Airbnb, but I think Bangkok is catching up past few years…. I don’t know why but the Thais are less tech savvy because of the poor English I think

This is in fact common in smaller, poorer nations. Laos is also more expensive than Thailand, Myanmar also for many things. Because they lack imports and materials, and there is not many options to choose from. So the prices go up. Supply and demand 101
