I’m trying to figure this out, but every resources has different advice, are we supposed to include the zero “0” before every phone number in Thailand?
07/09/2024 at 8:51 am #13603AnthonyGuestevery number I had in Thailand Sim cards was like “09…” or starting like that if I remember.
I think the old Sim cards were “08…” and some maybe still are. But all of them had a zero as I remember it.

That’s what I have seen too
07/09/2024 at 8:54 am #13605PamelaGuestThe Wiki page is kind of poorly written: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_numbers_in_Thailand
…. but I’m pretty sure the “0” is only when inside Thailand. If you are calling from other countries, you can remove the “0” prefix. I don’t know why but the zero is some type of recognition for Thai telecom companies to dial the numbers inside Thailand only.

- Inside of Thailand: put a zero prefix
- Calling into Thailand: do not put a zero prefix (only +66 country code)

probably that is cus Skype ignored your “0” not because of anything else.
